Today the jury recessed for deliberations in the most high profile Presidential case in legal history. But the Trump Trial has a familiar feel to it. Somewhere back in history we've seen this same scenario played out, just with different players.
Former President Donald J. Trump is on trial for what seems the fifth time in as many months.
This time for what some are calling a "hush money" trial. Former attorney Michael Cohen and porn star Stormy Daniel's claim that the front runner for the Republican Presidential campaign paid money to then Trump "fixer" Michael Cohen to hush Daniels up, for what she claims was an affair which happened over a decade ago.
After 3 weeks of contentious testimony, during which time Democrat donor Judge Merchan, gave instructions to the jury pool, as to the charges and options for finding the presidential hopeful guilty or not guilty of the up until now secret charges.
That's right, up until yesterday, the day prosecuting counsel disclosed it, no one knew what law President Trump had violated. It was a case reminiscent of "back woods justice" put upon former slaves after the Civil War and before Civil Rights legislation made it harder for racist communities and Judges to illegally imprison blacks.
President Trump, his legal team and most conservative legal minds all say the same thing. "This is a miscarriage of justice." "What Democrats are doing is unconstitutional." and one pundit put it this way, "This is a sad day for the Rule of Law in the United States".
But if you've been around long enough, the 800lb. gorilla in the room is clear as day. Democrats are making up crimes and laws in order to get a conviction on Trump, the same way they denied civil rights to ex-slaves during Reconstruction and throughout most of the early 1900-1968. If you are holding your breath thinking that Trump is going to get a fair trial in the Liberal stronghold of Manhattan, then you're sadly mistaken. The likelihood of Trump being acquitted are slim and none.
The part that isn't surprising is that they were capable of denying President Trump his constitutionally protected rights. They already have shown that if they would fight and die to keep slavery in America, they would do anything.
The surprise here is that no one has even dared make the connection that Democrats have never changed. They are the same Democrat Party that killed Lincoln back in 1860's, King in the 1960's and now they will stop at nothing to convict Donald Trump in the 2020's. The more ominous part is that this isn't the end of Trump's legal issues.
